Choose The Brain Charity as your charity of the year
Businesses and corporates support The Brain Charity in many different ways. Some choose to make their efforts a formal charity of the year partnership.
Why choose The Brain Charity as your company’s charity of the year?
Choosing The Brain Charity as your charity of the year to show your commitment to supporting people with all forms of neurological condition.
Boost staff morale by uniting your team behind our cause – championing neurodiversity and reducing the stigma around invisible disabilities.
Every charity of the year partnership supports The Brain Charity’s front line services – not just through financial support, but increased reach and brand recognition too.
Whether your company annually selects a charity of the year or is looking to set up a corporate charity partnership for the first time, we would love to hear from you.
Rooted in Liverpool, with a national impact
The Brain Charity was born in Liverpool and has been based here for nearly 30 years.
We are proud to consider ourselves a key part of Merseyside’s community while simultaneously helping people from all over the UK as a national charity. Find out more about us here.
What it means to become your charity of the year
If The Brain Charity is chosen as your charity of the year, we will work with you to identify and develop bespoke campaigns, projects and appeals which fit with your vision and values and our strategy.
Together, we will launch a unique calendar of engagement which will make a meaningful difference, leave a sustainable legacy and create business benefits on both sides.
We will provide a dedicated staff member who will be your account manager, providing all the support you need throughout the year. They will help manage each step of the process and come up with a plan which will work for your organisation.
You will be invited to come along to The Brain Charity’s events, visit our centre, meet some of the people we help and get involved.
Benefits to your business
Getting your staff involved with a charity of the year partnership is brilliant for staff morale, job satisfaction, employee recruitment and retention and strengthening team relationships.
A formal charity of the year partnership also means it is easier to measure and manage your activities in order to report against your corporate social responsibility objectives.
The Brain Charity is a well-respected and multi-award-winning charity, and is growing year-on-year in size and influence. We now have more than 25,000 followers across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn and nearly 8,000 people on our mailing list, with our website receiving an average of more than 50,000 page views a month.
As part of the partnership, we will support you throughout the year with publicity via our website news blog, social media, press releases and case studies.
We can also deliver workplace neurodiversity awareness training to your staff.
Employee fundraising
Our fundraising team can help your company’s employees identify and run the perfect fundraising event for them – something that is 100% fun!
Whether a marathon, office bake sale, incredible global trek or anything in between, we can provide collection tins, posters and Brain Charity merchandise as well as giving tips on how to maximise your fundraising, best collect donations and spread the word.

Employee volunteering
When your staff donate their time, they see the direct positive impact their support is having as we gain specialist skills our organisation may otherwise not have the resources to access.
Whether you would like to set up a one-off corporate volunteering day or get your staff involved with supporting regular projects, services and activities, we can make it happen.

Help in kind
Help in kind is often equally as valuable to The Brain Charity as financial donations. If your company can provide a specialist skill, service or product which might benefit The Brain Charity’s work, we would love to discuss this.
