Specialist Neuro Psychotherapy launches at The Brain Charity
'Pay it forward' by choosing The Brain Charity for your expert counselling needs
The Brain Charity has launched Specialist Neuro Psychotherapy – so that people who want to pay for counselling can receive support from expert therapists without having to wait.
Our licensed therapists are specialists in neurological conditions and the mental health concerns which are often associated with them. They can provide therapy from our centre in Liverpool, and online or via phone to people anywhere in the UK.
Prices for a single therapy session start at £65 per hour, with block booking options available for businesses and individuals wanting to commit to a certain number of sessions.
We decided to launch a paid-for therapy service as many clients accessing our free counselling asked us if they could pay for their sessions to support The Brain Charity.
Sharon Berry, Counselling Coordinator at The Brain Charity, said: “If you or someone you know are struggling with your mental health and are looking for expert therapists who specialise in neurological conditions, we can help.
“When you purchase Specialist Neuro Psychotherapy through The Brain Charity, you are not only accessing high quality professional therapy – you are also funding one of our clients to receive this for free.”
The Brain Charity’s Specialist Neuro Psychotherapy is separate to the free counselling we provide to clients. By paying for their sessions, clients are ‘paying it forward’ – allowing someone else who cannot afford it to access our counselling service for free.
The Brain Charity’s therapists offer a range of psychotherapy types, including CBT, person-centred and integrated. They have many years’ specialist experience in the mental health concerns often associated with having a neurological condition, such as:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- PTSD
- Bereavement and grief
- Phobias
- OCD
- Caring responsibilities
- Terminal illnesses
- Neurodivergence
- Brain injury
- Impulsivity
- Anger management
- Relationship problems
- Issues communicating
