Tech-savvy volunteers needed to run new digital drop-in at The Brain Charity

Volunteer in Liverpool by helping our clients use the internet

Include-IT Mersey and The Brain Charity are working together to create a weekly digital drop-in at The Brain Charity’s centre.

To make this happen, we are looking for ‘Digital Champion’ volunteers who can spare a couple of hours a week to help run it.

Sessions will help people get online, learn how to use the internet safely, boost their IT skills and encourage digital inclusion.

To take part in this volunteering opportunity in Liverpool, you don’t need to be a tech expert, but you will need to be confident with digital devices and with using the internet.

The most important thing is to have a positive attitude and a friendly and proactive character.

Volunteering is a great way for you to give back to your community, improve your wellbeing and boost your employability skills.

If you can help us run this digital drop-in we will pay all reasonable travel expenses and you will get a free Brain Charity t-shirt or hoodie.

To get involved, please email includeitmersey@seftoncvs.org.uk

Include-IT Mersey is a Liverpool City Region (LCR) digital inclusion project funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund.

The project runs a number of basic IT courses, throughout the LCR that are designed to help learners gain the skills needed for the workplace. For more information, go to includeitmersey.org.uk

If you would like to sign up to take part in the digital drop-in when it launches, email activities@thebraincharity.org.uk.
